Pityrogramma sulphurea, also known as the Jamaican goldback fern, is a type of fern that is native to the West Indies and has also been introduced to Sri Lanka. It has several synonyms, including Acrostichum sulphureum, Ceropteris sulphurea, and Gymnogramma sulphurea. This fern is known for its distinctive golden-colored fronds and is a popular ornamental plant. It is endemic to the West Indies, meaning it is found only in that region, and has been naturalized in Sri Lanka, where it can now be found growing in the wild.
