Parablechnum gregsonii, also known as Blechnum gregsonii, is a type of fern commonly found in the Illawarra and Blue Mountains areas of eastern Australia. It is typically found near waterfalls and in moist gullies. This fern has a creeping rhizome and pendent fronds that can grow up to 30-80 cm long. The pinnae, or leaflets, are bright green and have coarse teeth near the tips. It was first described in 1915 by William Walter Watts and was later elevated to the species level by Mary Tindale in 1960. The specific epithet, gregsonii, honors Edward Jesse Gregson who collected the type specimen in 1902. In the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification, this species is placed in the genus Parablechnum. Parablechnum gregsonii is typically found in cool rainforests and damp areas near waterfalls in the Blue Mountains and Illawarra region.
