Asplenium flabellifolium, commonly known as the necklace fern, is a small fern native to Australia and New Zealand. It was first described by Spanish botanist Antonio José Cavanilles. This fern is found in open forest or rainforest habitats, usually on the ground but sometimes epiphytic. Its fronds are 10 to 20 cm long, with 5 to 20 pairs of fan-shaped or lanceolate pinnae. The sori (spore-bearing structures) are in two rows along the midrib of each pinna.
