Asplenium auritum, also known as the eared spleenwort, is a fern species found in the Neotropical Realm of the Americas and Eastern Southern Africa. It is native to a wide range of countries, from the Florida Peninsula to southern Brazil and northern Argentina, as well as from DR Congo to Madagascar and the Mascarene Islands. There have also been sightings of this fern in the Azores, although its native status there is uncertain.
