Podocarpus purdieanus is an endangered conifer tree endemic to Jamaica. Commonly known as yacca or St. Ann yacca, it is valued for its lumber and is found in dense forest on limestone. It is threatened by overharvesting, mining, and clearing of its forest habitat for plantations and settlements. Its wood is still used to make ship masts and yam sticks.
