Podocarpus grayae is a type of conifer that is native to Australia and can only be found in the Northern Territory and Queensland. It was first identified and named in 1985 by David John de Laubenfels, who named it after Netta Elizabeth Gray. However, the name was later changed to grayae to follow the rules of the Shenzhen Code, which states that names should be changed to match the gender of the person being honored.
