Podocarpus globulus is a type of conifer that is found only in Borneo. It is a rare species with only four known subpopulations, located in Sabah and on the border of Sabah and Sarawak. There may be other undiscovered populations in these areas or in neighboring Kalimantan. This species typically grows in lower to middle montane rain forests, as well as on ridges and summits in lowland and hill forests where dipterocarps are not the dominant tree species. It can also be found in areas with ultrabasic soil.
