Musa muluensis is a species of banana and plantain native to tropical Asia, specifically Sarawak in Malaysia. It was first collected in 1964 from the Sungai Payau stream at the foot of Mount Mulu in Sarawak, Malaysia. It is part of the section Callimusa, which has a diploid chromosome number of 2n = 20. The Latin name, translated to English, means "banana (or plantain) species originating from (Mount) Mulu".
