Goeppertia loeseneri, also known as the Brazilian star calathea, is a plant species from the Marantaceae family. It is found in Peru, northern Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador and can reach a height of 1.2m. This plant is popularly grown as an ornamental plant for its attractive pink star-shaped flowers, even outside of its native habitat.
