Jaltomata cajacayensis, also known as musho in Quechua, is a plant species found in Peru. It was discovered by Mione in the Cajacay District and named after its place of origin. This perennial shrub can grow up to 1.1 m tall and produces whitish-green flowers and orange berries that are 5-9 mm in diameter. The berries are sweet and consumed raw by locals, who do not cultivate the plant but allow it to grow near their agricultural fields. In Peru, the leaves and flowers of Jaltomata cajacayensis are used to make a tea that is believed to help with stomach aches, diarrhea, and regulating menstrual cycles.
