Cuscuta umbellata, also known as flatglobe dodder, is a parasitic plant that belongs to the morning glory family. It is typically found in the Sonoran Desert in the south-western region of the United States. During the summer monsoon season, this plant spreads over its host plant, forming tangled masses of orange strings.
