Micranthes bryophora, also known as bud saxifrage, is a flowering plant found in the western United States. It has two varieties, var. bryophora and var. tobiasiae, which are separated geographically. The more common var. bryophora is found in the mountains of California, while the rare var. tobiasiae is only found in the Payette National Forest in western Idaho. This perennial herb has fleshy, hairy, lance-shaped leaves and produces an inflorescence on a tall peduncle. The flowers are white with two golden spots and have ten stamens with red anthers. The inflorescence also contains reproductive bulblets.
