Astilbe glaberrima is a flowering plant native to Yakushima Island, Japan. It is also known as the florist's spiraea and smooth rock astilbe. It is often considered a subspecies of Astilbe japonica and its dwarf variety, Astilbe glaberrima var. saxatilis, has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. There are two accepted varieties of Astilbe glaberrima: var. glaberrima and var. saxatilis.
