Rhodiola rhodantha, also known as redpod stonecrop or queen's crown, is a perennial flowering plant that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. It is commonly found in the United States, specifically in states such as Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. This plant is native to the Rocky Mountains and can grow up to 2,700 meters above sea level. It has small, succulent leaves without petioles and can reach a height of 45 centimeters. The leaves are green at the bottom and reddish at the top. The flowers are hermaphrodite and can be either rose or reddish in color, forming an inflorescence. They bloom from July to August and produce seeds from August to September.
