Petrosedum rupestre, also known as reflexed stonecrop, is a perennial succulent plant found in Europe. It has blue-gray to light green leaves and yellow flowers, and can grow up to 10 cm tall. This plant is popular for ornamental purposes and is drought-tolerant. It can also be used as a salad leaf or herb in some parts of Europe. Petrosedum rupestre is prone to fasciation, which produces unique cactus-like forms, but it requires careful maintenance to maintain this form. It is propagated through vegetative cloning and there are cultivars with variegated leaves.

Germination/Propagation Top
Suggest a correction or add new data!Sow seeds at 20°C, expecting germination within 3 months without further temperature treatment. |
Requires Light or Surface Sowing: These seeds need light to germinate and should not be covered with soil or only very lightly. They are often very small and sown directly on the surface of the growing medium. |
