Pachyphytum oviferum, also known as the sugaralmond plant or moonstone, is a species of succulent plant found in Mexico. It is named for its thick, egg-shaped leaves and is commonly found in the rocky cliffs of San Luis Potosi at an altitude of 1200 meters. The plant has stems that can reach up to 20 cm in length and 1 cm in thickness, with about 15 leaves. These leaves are 3-5 cm long, 1.8-3 cm wide, and 8-17 mm thick, and have a pale blue-green to bluish-purple color, resembling sugared almonds. The plant also produces scarlet, bell-shaped flowers on a 30 cm stem.
