Echeveria runyonii is a flowering plant native to Tamaulipas, Mexico, and is named after Texas botanist Robert Runyon. It forms a rosette with pinkish-white leaves and has 14 chromosomes. There are several cultivars, including 'Topsy Turvy' with upside-down leaves, and hybrids such as 'Green Star' and 'Domingo'. The plant was first discovered in 1922 and wild populations were not found until 1990. It is named after botanical illustrator Atanasio Echeverría y Godoy.
