Picrasma excelsa, a member of the Simaroubaceae family, is a species found in several countries including Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Venezuela. Unfortunately, this species is facing a threat due to habitat loss.
