Phebalium stenophyllum, also known as narrow-leaved phebalium, is a small shrub native to south-eastern Australia. It has scaly branchlets and narrow, oblong leaves that can appear cylindrical. The plant produces yellow flowers in groups of three to ten. It was first described in 1863 and later recognized as its own species in 1916. This plant can be found in eucalypt woodlands, heath, and mallee in New South Wales and near the Victorian-South Australian border. It is also cultivated as an ornamental shrub and can tolerate frost and dry periods.
