Phebalium speciosum is a shrub species found only in a small area of New South Wales. It has rust-coloured scales on its branchlets and silvery and rust-coloured scales on its lance-shaped leaves. The flowers are white to pale pink and have silvery or rust-coloured scales on the back of the petals. It was first described in 2013 and is only found in two locations near Urbenville. Due to habitat loss and weed invasion, it is listed as critically endangered under both Australian and New South Wales conservation acts.
