Phebalium glandulosum, also known as desert phebalium, is a shrub species native to eastern Australia. It has glandular-warty stems covered in silvery to rust-colored scales, wedge-shaped leaves with a scaly underside, and yellow flowers arranged in umbels on the ends of branches. It was first described by botanist William Jackson Hooker in 1848 and has since been divided into six subspecies. It can be found in various habitats, including heath, forest, and mallee, in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. Each subspecies has its own unique distribution, with some being more restricted to certain areas than others.
