Leionema diosmeum is a shrub species that is native to southern New South Wales, Australia and belongs to the Rutaceae family. It has an upright growth habit, stems covered in soft hairs, and variable shaped leaves. The plant produces yellow flowers from late winter to spring. The leaves are usually needle-shaped, but can also be oval or lance-shaped, and have a smooth upper surface or are covered in soft hairs. The flowers are arranged in compact heads at the end of branches and have creamish-yellow petals with occasional hairs tipped with glands. The fruit is upright and about 4mm long. This plant is found in dry sclerophyll forests and heath areas on sandstone in southern New South Wales. It was first described by Paul G. Wilson and is commonly known as Leionema diosmeum.
