Chorilaena quercifolia, also known as karri oak or chorilaena, is a bushy shrub found in the karri forests of south-west Western Australia. It is the only species in its genus and has papery, egg-shaped leaves with lobed edges. The flowers are arranged in groups of five and can be green, yellow, white, red, or pink. The plant typically grows to 1-4 meters in height and blooms between October and February. It was first described in 1837 by botanist Stephan Endlicher and is found in rocky coastal areas and hillsides near the coast. Chorilaena quercifolia is not considered threatened by the Government of Western Australia.
