Dysoxylum pachyrhache is a tree in the Meliaceae family, native to Borneo. Its specific epithet, pachyrhache, comes from the Greek word meaning "thick axis", which refers to the width of its inflorescence. This tree can grow up to 20 meters tall and has a trunk diameter of up to 40 centimeters. Its bark is a dark brown color and it produces cream-colored, fragrant flowers. The fruit of this tree is orange-red and can reach lengths of up to 8 centimeters. Dysoxylum pachyrhache is found in rainforests at elevations ranging from sea level to 1,600 meters.
