Chisocheton cumingianus subsp. kinabaluensis is a tree that belongs to the Meliaceae family and is a subspecies of Chisocheton cumingianus. It can grow up to 37 metres tall and has a trunk diameter of up to 50 centimetres. The bark is grey-brown in color and the flowers are pale yellow to white. The fruits are round to pyriform and orange-red, with a diameter of up to 7 cm. This tree is named after Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia and is found in rain forests. It is only found in Sabah and is endemic to Borneo.
