Pistacia eurycarpa, also known as the Persian turpentine tree, is a species of Pistacia found in southeastern Turkey, northern Iraq, Iran, Armenia, and Antilebanon. It is called qezwan or dareben in Kurdish and is similar to Pistacia atlantica subsp. mutica, but has wider fruits. The tree's resin has a watery taste and is used as a chewing gum to alleviate stomach issues such as upper abdominal discomfort, stomach aches, dyspepsia, and peptic ulcers.
