Urtica fissa is a perennial herb found in the streams and rainforests of China. It is a monoecious plant, meaning it has both male and female sex organs, but can also be dioecious, with only one sex organ. The leaves of this plant are triangular and grow opposite to each other, measuring 5-12 centimetres in length. They have serrated edges and are covered in stinging hairs.
