Sorbus sargentiana, also known as Sargent's rowan, is a flowering plant in the rose family native to southwestern China. It is named after American dendrologist Charles Sprague Sargent and is known for its large, dark green leaves with a glaucous underside. In the fall, the leaves turn a vibrant orange-pink to purple or dark red. The tree also produces small white flowers and bright orange-red fruit that is popular among birds. It is often grown as an ornamental tree for its attractive foliage, fruit, and autumn color, and has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
