Rubus pumilus is a unique species of brambles found in North America, specifically in the State of Chihuahua in northern Mexico. It is a perennial plant that grows close to the ground and has prickles. Its leaves are simple and can either be rounded or 3-lobed, while its flowers are white and its fruit is red. Due to the complex genetics of the Rubus genus, it is challenging to determine which groups should be classified as separate species. Rubus pumilus is one of many rare species with limited distribution, and further research is needed to better understand its taxonomy.
