Rubus nelsonii is a rare type of bramble plant that belongs to the rose family and is native to southern Mexico, specifically the State of Oaxaca. It is a perennial plant with long stems that can reach up to 4 meters in length and typically grow on walls, rocks, or other vegetation. The stems are purple in color and covered in hair, with few and weak curved prickles. The leaves are compound and have either 3 or 5 leaflets. The flowers of this plant are white, and its fruits are dark purple in color.
