Rubus lineatus, also known as R. pulcherrimus, is a semi-evergreen shrub found in eastern and southern Asia. It is commonly found in countries such as China, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam. This plant is also grown as an ornamental in temperate climates. It spreads through suckering stems and can reach a height and spread of 4 meters. Its large, attractive palmate leaves have a white underside. In spring and summer, it produces small white flowers, followed by red or yellow fruits in autumn. This plant requires full sun for its fruits to ripen. Its Latin name, lineatus, refers to the deep veining on its leaves.
