Rubus durescens is a rare British flowering plant that belongs to the rose family. It is only found in England, specifically in the southern half of Derbyshire county. The plant was first discovered and named in 1892 by botanist William Richardson Linton, who included an illustration of it on the cover of The Flora of Derbyshire in 1903. The plant has deep pink flowers and is commonly found in hedges, shrubs, wood, and heathy areas. Its distribution has remained unchanged since its discovery and it is listed as "Nationally Rare" on the 2015 Derbyshire Vascular Plant Red Data List due to its limited population.
