Rubus deliciosus, also known as the delicious raspberry, is a deciduous shrub or vine native to the United States. It is a member of the rose family and can grow up to 3 meters tall. Its leaves are simple and have three shallow lobes, and its flowers are white and fragrant. The fruit is dark red and has a delicious flavor, although wild forms may not be as appealing. This plant is found in the Rocky Mountains and can be cultivated in well-drained soil and full sun. It has been hybridized with a closely related species and is popular as an ornamental plant in gardens. One cultivar, R. × tridel 'Benenden', has received an award from the Royal Horticultural Society.
