Rubus costaricanus is a type of bramble plant found in southern Mexico and Central America. It belongs to the rose family and can grow up to 3 meters tall with curved prickles. Its leaves are made up of 3 or 5 leaflets. This species is native to Mesoamerica, specifically from Chiapas to Panamá.
