Pomaderris viridis is a shrub or small tree that is native to south-eastern continental Australia. It has hairy young stems, egg-shaped to elliptic leaves, and panicles of cream-coloured to pale yellowish-green flowers. The plant typically grows to a height of 2-5 meters and its leaves are covered with star-shaped hairs. It was first described in 2008 and is found in rocky areas near watercourses in forests. It is only found in isolated populations in New South Wales and has one record in Victoria. The specific epithet "viridis" refers to the green color of the plant and its leaves. Flowering occurs in November.
