Trema tomentosum, also known as poison peach, is a shrub or tree in the Cannabaceae family native to the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, and the Pacific islands. It grows up to 5 meters tall and blooms between October and April, producing green-white flowers and black fruit. The leaves are light green, scabrous, and toxic to livestock. The plant was first described in 1832 and has two varieties.
