Celtis tournefortii, also known as the oriental hackberry, is a deciduous tree found in Southeastern Europe, Western Asia, and the Caucasus region. It can reach a height of 6 meters and is typically found in plains and dry forests. This species is endemic to countries such as Ukraine, Croatia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. It was recently discovered in Bulgaria in 2012 and is considered a new addition to the country's flora.
