Sorocephalus imbricatus, also known as the tile-leaf clusterhead, is a flowering shrub found in the Western Cape region of South Africa. It is a member of the Sorocephalus genus and is typically found in the Piketberg, Groot Winterhoek, and Elandskloof mountains. While it was last seen at these locations 50 years ago, it is still considered native to the area. The shrub can grow up to 2 meters tall and blooms from August to September. It is susceptible to fire, but its seeds are able to survive. The plant is bisexual and relies on insects for pollination. Its fruit ripens two months after flowering and its seeds are dispersed by ants. Sorocephalus imbricatus grows in mountainous shale areas at altitudes between 330-860 meters.
