Persoonia microphylla is a plant in the Proteaceae family that is native to New South Wales. It is a shrub with elliptic to egg-shaped leaves and yellow flowers that grow in groups of up to fourteen. The plant can grow up to 2 meters tall and has smooth bark with young branches covered in whitish or greyish hairs. It blooms from December to February and produces green drupe fruits with purple stripes. This species was first described in 1830 by Robert Brown and is found in heath and forest habitats in eastern New South Wales. It grows at altitudes between 600 and 1,200 meters and is found in two separate locations near Taralga and in the Budawang Range.
