Persoonia cornifolia is an endemic shrub of eastern Australia, found in northern New South Wales and south-eastern Queensland. It has elliptic to egg-shaped leaves and yellow, hairy flowers. It was first formally described in 1830 by Robert Brown from an unpublished manuscript by Allan Cunningham. It grows in woodland and forest, and flowers from December to February, followed by green drupes.
