Leucadendron spissifolium subsp. phillipsii, also known as the Kareedouwvlakte spear-leaf conebush, is a flower-bearing shrub found in the fynbos region of South Africa. It is part of the Leucadendron genus and is native to the Eastern and Western Cape provinces. This shrub is able to regenerate after a fire and its seeds are dispersed by wind. It has separate male and female flowers, which are pollinated by insects. This subspecies can be identified by its ovate involucral bracts and is mainly found in moist, southern slopes at altitudes of 30-500 meters. It is commonly found in the Tsitsikamma Mountains, Elandsberg, and Vanstadensberg.
