Leucadendron foedum, also known as the Hopefield conebush, is a flowering shrub found in the fynbos region of the Western Cape, South Africa. It can grow up to 2.5 meters tall and blooms from August to October. Despite being killed by fire, the plant's seeds are able to survive and are dispersed by the wind. This shrub is unisexual, with separate male and female plants, and is commonly referred to as Hopefield-tolbos in Afrikaans. It is native to the area between Piketberg and Hopefield.
