Leucadendron flexuosum, also known as the Worcester conebush, is a shrub that belongs to the Leucadendron genus and is found in the fynbos region of the Western Cape. It can grow up to 2.5 meters tall and blooms from April to May. The plant has adapted to survive fires by sprouting from an underground rhizome and its seeds are dispersed by the wind. It has separate male and female flowers, which are pollinated by small insects. This plant is typically found in water-rich areas with deep, rocky soil at an elevation of 180-200 meters. In Afrikaans, it is called the Worcestertolbos.
