Isopogon inconspicuus is a small shrub that belongs to the Proteaceae family and is found only in the southwest region of Western Australia. It has pinnate leaves with cylindrical leaflets and produces pink to purple flowers covered in grey hairs. The plant typically grows to a height of 20-80 cm and blooms from August to November. Its fruit is a hairy nut and it is found in heath and shrubland on sandplains in the Dandaragan to Eneabba area. This plant was first described in 1855 and has since been renamed by Donald Bruce Foreman in 1995.
