Isopogon gardneri is a prickly shrub that belongs to the Proteaceae family and is found only in the southwest region of Western Australia. It has dense foliage and sharp, interlocking leaves, with pale pink or yellow flowers. The plant can grow up to 2 meters tall and has reddish-brown branchlets. Its flowers bloom from September to December and are followed by small, hairy fruits. This plant was first described in 1995 and is named after Charles Gardner. It is found in shrubland and mallee habitats in the Avon Wheatbelt, Coolgardie, and Mallee regions of Western Australia. Isopogon gardneri is not considered threatened by the Western Australian government.
