Hakea decurrens, also known as bushy needlewood, is a shrub or small tree in the Proteaceae family. It can grow up to 5 meters tall and has needle-shaped leaves with a sharp point. The flowers are white or pink and appear from May to September. The fruit is grey and covered in warts, with a prominent beak and two small horns. This species was first described in 1830 and has three subspecies with differences in fruit and hair characteristics. It is native to New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania in Australia, but is also naturalized in South Australia and Portugal.
