Grevillea parallelinervis is a unique species of flowering plant that belongs to the Proteaceae family and is native to South Australia. It is a low-growing shrub with long, pointed leaves and clusters of red flowers that have green-tipped styles. The plant can reach a height of 0.5-2 meters and has hairy branchlets. Its leaves are linear and rolled downwards, except for the mid-vein. The flowers bloom from August to October and are followed by glabrous fruit. This species was first described in 1976 and is found in the western part of the Gawler Range in South Australia, where it grows in rocky soil in open shrubland.
