Banksia subulata, also known as the awled honeypot, is a unique shrub species that is native to the southwest region of Western Australia. It is a low-growing shrub with long, linear leaves and yellowish green flowers that are arranged in heads of about sixty. The plant produces spherical follicles and blooms from September to October. This species was first described in 1964 and was later reclassified as a Banksia in 2007. It is found in low kwongan habitats between Eneabba and the Hill River and is considered a low priority for conservation.
