Banksia nivea, also known as honeypot dryandra, is a shrub that is native to Western Australia. It has linear, pinnatipartite leaves with triangular lobes, and produces cream-colored and orange or red flowers. The plant was first collected by Jacques Labillardière in 1792 and was later transferred to the genus Dryandra by Robert Brown. In 1996, two subspecies were described, and in 2007, all Dryandra species were transferred to the Banksia genus. Honeypot dryandra is widespread in Western Australia and is an important food source for nectarivorous birds. While one subspecies is not threatened, the other is classified as "Threatened Flora" by the Western Australian government.
