Banksia dallanneyi subsp. agricola is a subspecies of the Banksia dallanneyi plant, previously known as Dryandra lindleyana subsp. agricola. In 2007, it was reclassified under the Banksia genus by Austin Mast and Kevin Thiele. This was due to the merging of all Dryandra species into Banksia. As there was already a Banksia species named Banksia lindleyana, a new specific epithet had to be chosen for D. lindleyana and subsequently for this subspecies. Like other members of Banksia ser. Dryandra, it is only found in the South West Botanical Province of Western Australia.
